New Managing Director at SIMTEC

SIMTEC Silicone Parts welcomes Mr. Roland Keller as the new Managing Director. Mr. Keller comes to SIMTEC with many years of managerial experience held at manufacturing companies throughout Europe, Asia, and the United States. He has a degree in Electrical Engineering and a breadth of knowledge and experience in operations and within the medical device market. Prior to joining SIMTEC, Mr. Keller was Vice President Operations at a leading manufacturer of medical and diagnostic products with a sizeable injection molding operation.

Mr. Keller stated he will continue the course as Managing Director at SIMTEC Silicone Parts, “SIMTEC has been very successful and shown impressive growth both with new and existing customers under Frank Dilly, the Managing Director since 2017. Mr. Dilly has done a commendable job along with the astute Management team, and highly experienced employees. I look forward to acquainting myself with customers, suppliers and of course our great SIMTEC team”.
The turnover will be completed in July at which time Mr. Keller will take over as sole Managing Director at SIMTEC Silicone Parts.

Frank Dilly conveyed that it was a difficult decision to leave SIMTEC located in Miramar, Florida/USA, however he wanted to return to Austria to be closer to his family. Frank expressed upon leaving, “I have deep gratitude for the trust, cooperation and support I received from customers and team members over the last four exciting years and I am optimistic for SIMTEC’s future. It was amazing to experience first-hand the opportunities in North America and the dynamics in the market. I am confident Roland Keller will take SIMTEC to the next level with continued growth and on a healthy positive trajectory “. Mr. Dilly’s contribution to SIMTEC was noteworthy. He joined SIMTEC in 2017, and during this time SIMTEC experienced significant growth, expanded its capabilities and capacity, and became a respected player in the medical market. Significant milestones included the addition of a class 8 clean room in 2018 and advances in micro-molding.

In 2022, SIMTEC will expand its cleanroom initiating phase 2 of their cleanroom strategy, and will also expand its overall facility adding additional floor space and production capacity to accommodate their growth.
